This is my special tribute to my wonderful devoted father and loving partner of Ray-Ann who
tragically passed away on the 6th may of 2005 at such a young age of 36.
My dad was brought up in the Motherwell area by his mother (Josephine) and father (Alex) Blackwood,
along with his only brother Paul.
It was there he met my mother - Ray-Ann Bulloch and became childhood sweethearts at the tender age
of 14. Both fell in love instantly and went through life happy together where they later had two
children, Stacey 20 and (Me) Adele 18.
My dad sadly and suddenly passed away in his sleep much to the shock and horror of all who knew him,
there was no pain for my dad, it was peaceful which brought our family some comfort knowing he
didn't suffer.
My dad was a warehouse assistant and drove forklift trucks, he worked since the day he left school,
and on his days off, would spend precious time with his family to whom he loved so dearly and who
loved him so much in return.
There is never a day goes by where we think of you and still wonder why you were taken from us so
early in your life, but if it's true what they say that only the good die young..... then god has
just recruited the best of the best.!!
We will never forget you dad and the loving memories you gave to all of us. May god protect and keep
you, until one day, we all meet again.
